Get in Touch

WorkTime HQ is run by a small independent team, and we read everything that comes in. The best way to reach us is by email:

contact@worktimehq.com

We aim to reply within a few business days. Because we are a small operation, complex questions occasionally take a little longer.

Reporting an Error

Corrections are the most valuable message we receive. If a calculator returns a result you believe is wrong, or a guide misstates a rule, please tell us — and if you can, include:

  • The page or calculator involved
  • The values you entered and the result you saw
  • The result you expected, and the source or rule it is based on
  • Your state, if the issue involves state-specific overtime rules

We verify reported issues against the underlying rule before changing anything, and we correct confirmed errors promptly. See our editorial standards for how that process works.

What We Cannot Help With

We are not able to give legal, tax, or HR advice, review your individual pay stubs or employment contract, contact an employer on your behalf, or tell you whether you have a valid wage claim. Those questions need someone who can look at your specific circumstances.

If you believe you have been underpaid, your employer's HR or payroll department is usually the fastest first step. Beyond that, the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division investigates federal wage complaints at no cost to workers, and most states have their own labor agency — some of which enforce rules more protective than federal law.

Suggestions and Requests

If there is a calculation you keep doing by hand, or a state rule you would like covered, send it over. Reader requests directly shape what we build and write next.

For privacy questions specifically, see our privacy policy, which explains what we do and do not collect.
